Imagery Analyst

Role Overview: As an Imagery Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with end-users to implement imagery analytics tools, process real-world datasets, and translate algorithmic outputs into actionable insights. Your responsibilities will involve executing image processing workflows, conducting training sessions, interpreting algorithm outputs, identifying challenges, and engaging with client stakeholders to shape future product features. Key Responsibilities: - Execute multi-temporal image processing workflows using change-detection applications on client datasets. - Conduct training sessions, develop guides, and demonstrate real-world use cases for customers. - Interpret algorithm outputs and create deliverables like annotated maps, dashboards, and case studies. - Identify edge cases, false positives/negatives, and recommend workflow/UI enhancements. - Collaborate with software engineers to fine-tune configurations and validate performance improvements. - Engage with client stakeholders to understand domain needs and translate them into product feature briefs. - Utilize software for report generation and customer briefings. Qualification Required: - 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SAR and multispectral satellite images. - Strong understanding of imagery data structures and analytical workflows. - Proficiency with QGIS/ArcGIS, GDAL/Rasterio, and geoprocessing pipelines. - Ability to communicate technical insights effectively through visuals and narratives. - Familiarity with YAML/JSON configurations, Git, and CLI-based toolchains. - Excellent documentation and presentation skills. Additional Details: Experience with optical + SAR data fusion, time-series analysis, or ML model evaluation is considered a nice-to-have skill. Exposure to React-based geospatial interfaces or participation in UX feedback cycles can be beneficial for the role.,
