ID Grinding Operator

Job Summary:

The ID (Internal Diameter) Grinding Operator is responsible for operating grinding machines to perform precision internal diameter grinding on metal components, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
• Set up and operate ID grinding machines (manual or CNC) to perform precision internal grinding tasks.
• Select and mount grinding wheels and other attachments.
• Job Preparation & Inspection:
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools like bore gauges, micrometers, and comparators.
• Process Monitoring:
• Monitor machine operations for accuracy, surface finish, and tolerance.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain quality.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Documentation:
• Maintain production and inspection records as per company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality systems.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with ID grinding machines
• Strong knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of machining parameters (speed, feed, depth)
• Qualifications:
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die / Production Engineering
• 1-5 years of experience in ID Grinding operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
