Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide
production support
for all ETL jobs and data workflows built on
IBM DataStage
.
Monitor and maintain
ETL processes using scheduling and monitoring tools to proactively prevent failures.
Investigate and resolve
production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies within defined SLAs.
Perform
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
for recurring or critical issues and implement permanent solutions.
Execute
manual restarts/reruns
of DataStage jobs as necessary to minimize data load delays.
Participate in
on-call rotations
to handle critical production issues after hours.
Design, develop, and optimize
ETL pipelines and data workflows
using Python (Pandas) and DataStage.
Work with
Teradata (Vantage)
, SQL Server, Greenplum, Hive, and large text-based data files.
Perform
data migration, transformation, and performance tuning
for large-scale data sets.
Leverage
database tools
to develop DDL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects.
Collaborate in
Agile environments
throughout the software development lifecycledesign, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
