Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate IB PYP Coordinator to lead the Primary Years Programme at our prestigious international school in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and curriculum planning skills, with a keen understanding of the IB philosophy and pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of the IB PYP curriculum across grades.
• Support teachers in designing inquiry-based learning experiences and assessments.
• Coordinate PYP unit planners, documentation, and IB authorization processes.
• Organize professional development sessions and workshops for PYP faculty.
• Maintain effective communication with the IB organization, school leadership, and parent community.
• Monitor students’ progress and ensure alignment with IB standards and practices.
• Coordinate PYP exhibitions, community projects, and school events.
• Act as the primary liaison between teachers, students, and administration regarding PYP matters.
• Stay updated with PYP developments and ensure continuous school improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) and B.Ed. are mandatory.
• 2–5 years of relevant teaching or IB PYP coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of IB PYP framework and inquiry-based teaching methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Effective classroom management and curriculum planning ability.
• Female candidates preferred as per institutional requirements.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
