Role & responsibilities: 1. Programme Leadership and Management Lead the implementation and continuous development of the IB PYP in the school. Ensure that all requirements of the IB are met and maintained. Prepare for and manage IB authorization and evaluation visits. 2. Staff Support and Professional Development Support and mentor teachers in PYP curriculum planning and implementation. Organize and lead regular professional development and training sessions related to IB standards and practices. Promote reflective teaching practices aligned with IB philosophy. 3. Curriculum and Assessment Oversight Oversee the planning, teaching, and assessment of the PYP across grade levels. Ensure vertical and horizontal articulation of the curriculum. Monitor the use of PYP assessment strategies and tools. Maintain and manage PYP curriculum documentation and ensure accessibility for all stakeholders. 4. Communication and Collaboration Communicate IB PYP philosophy and practices to the school community, including parents and guardians. Foster collaboration among grade-level teams and subject specialists. Organize parent information sessions and updates on the PYP. Represent the school at IB regional meetings and professional learning communities. 5. Administrative Duties Maintain up-to-date records for IB compliance and evaluation. Submit necessary documentation and reports to the IB. Manage PYP-related resources and budgeting in coordination with the administration. Stay updated on changes to IB policies and procedures. Preferred candidate profile : Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in an IB PYP setting. Experience with curriculum development and teacher mentoring. Completion of official IB PYP Coordinator training is strongly preferred. Key Skills and Attributes: Strong understanding of the IB PYP philosophy and framework.
