Role Description

This is a remote, part-time role for an IB DP or CIE Physics (IG/A Levels) Tutor. The tutor will provide tailored academic support to students, focusing on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) and Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabi. Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, developing customized lesson plans, and providing guidance on complex physics concepts to enhance student understanding. The tutor will also assist in exam preparation and foster confidence in student learning through effective teaching strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IB DP and/or CIE Physics syllabi, including concepts, theories, and exam requirements
• Experience in tutoring or teaching Physics, with proven ability to adapt teaching methodologies to different learning styles
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and mentorship skills
• Proficiency in creating structured lesson plans and identifying learning gaps
• Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Education, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and tools to conduct remote tutoring sessions
