Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an IB DP AA/AI | CIE Math (IG/A Levels) Tutor. The tutor will provide one-on-one or small group instruction to help students master mathematical concepts, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve academic excellence. Responsibilities include creating tailored lesson plans, assisting with IB and CIE Math exam preparation, monitoring student progress, and offering feedback to ensure their academic development. Tutors will also maintain clear communication with students and, if applicable, their parents regarding performance and improvement areas.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical proficiency in IB DP Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches, Applications & Interpretation) and CIE Math for IGCSE and A Levels
• Experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics to high school-level students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students effectively
• Ability to create personalized lesson plans and adapt teaching methods based on individual learning needs
• Time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple students and schedules
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (advanced degree preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with IB and CIE curriculum standards and examination formats
• Experience with online teaching tools and platforms is an advantage
