Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, and implementation of new parts and components for automotive OEMs. In-depth knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) to manage and drive the successful execution of the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process for new parts. In-depth knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) . Ensure compliance with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and coordinate the necessary documentation and validation processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality departments to ensure seamless development of new parts. Troubleshoot design issues and drive continuous improvement in part design and production. Ensure the technical feasibility and manufacturability of the new parts while meeting the automotive industry standards. Audit Responsibilities: Internal Audits: Regularly conduct internal audits of development processes, quality control measures, and compliance with industry standards. Ensure that the engineering department is adhering to best practices and continuous improvement methodologies. Supplier Audits: Lead audits of suppliers facilities to ensure that they comply with contract specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Assess their manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and production methods. Corrective Action: Identify any non-conformities during audits and work with relevant teams to develop corrective action plans. Follow up to ensure these actions are implemented and effective. External Audits: Support third-party audits (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949) by preparing documentation, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, IATF 16949 5+ years of experience in automotive part development and APQP/PPAP processes. Familiarity with design tools, production methods, and quality control processes.
