Job description We are Hiring for Operations Head Foundry and Machine Shop Factory in Coimbatore with 18 to 24 Years of Experience. - We are a Private Limited is a pre-eminent iron casting manufacturing company that produces Grey Iron, Ductile Iron, CG Iron, and AD Iron. We have 3 foundries with a capacity of 60000 tons PA. The Factory has a dedicated machine shop to deliver precision iron components to customers worldwide. The Factory is located in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and has a certified IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. Job Description - Head Operations - The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the machine shop and foundry, ensuring efficient production processes, planning quality control, achieving the customer schedules, management of manpower. - This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and continuous process improvement to meet organizational targets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. - Oversee production schedules, ensuring timely completion and delivery of raw castings / machined casting to the suppliers. - Responsible for productivity and OTIF - Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment. - Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of production. - Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance. - Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance to the management - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. - Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
