As a RS&W Hyperion Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily operational excellence, maintenance, and technical execution of the financial planning system. Your role will involve being a reciprocal backup to the Business Owner, focusing on efficient process execution, data integrity management, user support, and technical implementation of business-defined changes. Your main goal will be to ensure the system is available, accurate, and responsive during critical financial cycles. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **System Operations & Maintenance:** - Execute Month-End & Year-End Close processes, including tracking inbound data streams and calculating labor rates for forecasts. - Manage Cycle Management processes, such as the "12+0 Close" and budget update processes, ensuring accurate synchronization of exchange rates and currency alignments. - Update metadata based on kickout reports and business requirements, and manage shared metadata for alternate hierarchies. 2. **Technical Support & Troubleshooting:** - Investigate data flow errors and troubleshoot disconnects using SQL queries in RS&W and IMPRS staging tables. - Provide user support by responding to ad-hoc business requests, managing user provisioning/access rights, and troubleshooting user-specific issues. - Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing on structural changes and updates to ensure system stability. 3. **Reporting & Development:** - Develop and maintain reports and forms to support business analysis. - Monitor and validate data transfers between Planisware and Hyperion, correcting any disconnects in the staging environment. 4. **Process Execution:** - Support Internal Control requests and initiatives by providing required documentation and system evidence. - Maintain full knowledge of the Lead Business Owners duties to serve as a capable backup during absences, ensuring business continuity. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience administering Oracle Hyperion EPM applications (Planning and Essbase) in a corporate environment. - Proven experience with SQL, including writing complex queries for data flow error investigation and staging table validation. This role requires you to have a deep understanding of Hyperion Planning and Essbase, experience in maintaining and modifying calculation scripts, proficiency in Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Financial Reporting, as well as knowledge of financial cycles and accounting concepts. Additionally, you should possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capability to act as a reciprocal backup to the Business Owner.
