Prepare and review commissioning protocols, checklists, and documentation for HVAC and utility systems. Perform HVAC system validation and ensure it meets required performance parameters. Supervise and witness qualification processes (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) on-site. HVAC System Validation: Perform HVAC validation activities to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards. Standardize validation documentation (including protocols and reports) and compile final validation documents. Ensure proper handling and maintenance of parameters such as temperature, relative humidity (RH), and differential pressure in HVAC systems. Review and approve qualification protocols (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) as per regulatory requirements. Operation & Maintenance: Oversee the planning, implementation, and review of SOPs, protocols, and compliance documents related to HVAC systems and utilities. Plan and execute HVAC system validations according to the project schedule and regulatory timelines. Coordinate maintenance activities such as troubleshooting, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance. Ensure timely procurement of spares and tools required for HVAC operations and maintenance. Maintain and monitor system performance, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and optimizing operational efficiency. Utility Management & Compliance: Control and monitor HVAC systems and utilities (e.g., temperature, humidity, air pressure) to ensure they are within specified parameters. Oversee the operation of fire fighting systems and ensure their integration with HVAC systems where necessary. Identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost-saving initiatives related to HVAC operations. Prepare and support internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation and systems are in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the team to ensure proper operation and maintenance of critical HVAC systems in controlled environments (clean rooms, laboratories, etc.). Vendor & Site Coordination: Establish and maintain proper communication with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the HVAC project. Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that HVAC equipment and services are delivered and installed according to schedule and quality standards. Supervise site activities, ensuring work is performed safely and according to technical specifications and GMP regulations.
