Position Overview


The AGM – HR will lead the Human Resources function at the corporate level, overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations including talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, driving HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic HR Leadership


Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and organizational goals.


Partner with senior management to drive organizational effectiveness and culture-building initiatives.


Support leadership in workforce planning, succession management, and manpower budgeting.


2. Talent Acquisition & Management


Lead end-to-end recruitment for leadership and key technical roles.


Design and implement robust onboarding, training, and retention strategies.


Foster a high-performance culture through effective goal-setting and performance review systems.


3. Employee Relations & Engagement


Oversee employee engagement programs and grievance redressal mechanisms.


Ensure transparent communication channels across all organizational levels.


Promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive work environment.


4. Learning & Development


Identify skill gaps and design learning interventions to support employee growth.


Implement leadership development and competency enhancement programs.


5. HR Operations & Compliance


Supervise HR operations including payroll, statutory compliance, and policy implementation.


Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.


Manage HRMS implementation and data-driven HR analytics.


6. Compensation & Benefits


Develop competitive compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks.


Manage annual appraisal cycles and incentive programs.


Desired Candidate Profile


Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.


Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.


Industry Preference: Infrastructure, Construction, Real Estate, or allied sectors preferred.


Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HR technology systems.


Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.


Proven ability to lead HR teams and collaborate with multi-functional leaders.
