About the Role

HR Generalist


The ideal candidate has successfully supported global, customer-facing teams, understands the nuances of working in a fast-paced international environment, and is adept at balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations. You will serve as the go-to HR partner for these teams, collaborating closely with both India HR leadership and global business leaders to ensure employee success and organizational growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • HR Business Partnership

    : Act as the primary HR point of contact for customer-facing teams in India, addressing people-related needs, resolving employee concerns, and coaching managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management

    : Support end-to-end employee processes including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, career progression, and engagement programs, in alignment with global HR strategies.
  • HR Operations & Compliance

    : Manage HR systems and data accuracy, assist with payroll and benefits administration, and ensure strict adherence to India labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

    : Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to forecast hiring needs, drive recruitment processes, and ensure smooth integration of new talent.
  • Employee Relations

    : Provide timely, empathetic, and compliant resolution to employee relations matters while fostering a transparent, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.
  • Culture & Engagement

    : Lead and contribute to employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities that promote belonging and retention.
  • Insights & Improvements

    : Gather employee feedback, analyze HR data and metrics, and propose innovative people strategies to enhance employee experience and team effectiveness.


Requirements

  • Experience

    : 5+ years in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role; prior exposure to SaaS or technology-driven organizations strongly preferred.
  • Global Team Support

    : Proven track record of supporting customer-facing global teams in U.S. or international time zones.
  • Compliance Expertise

    : Strong understanding of India employment laws, HR compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Relationship Management

    : Ability to build trusted partnerships across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
  • Skills

    : Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Mindset

    : Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Flexibility

    : Willingness to work U.S. shifts on a regular basis.
  • Education

    : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; professional HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) are a plus.
