Job Description

We are looking for a human resources executive to align the firm's operations and policies with its strategic and business plan. The role involves: • Providing tactical and strategic support through HR metrics. Implementing suitable recruiting and talent acquisition methods. Taking the lead in developing and implementing human resource policies. Review and update incentive schemes per industry standards for various roles across practice areas. Resolving human resource issues within teams and across offices. The position demands confidence in managing and balancing the interests of the firm and the professionals with excellent communication skills. Qualification & Experience: BBA/MBA in Human Resources with a PQE of at least ten years, preferably in the legal sector or professional services firm. Location: Kolkata Key Responsibilities: Coordinate all recruitment activities; Efficiently coordinate all post-interview recruitment inductions. Actively support the team lead in reviewing and updating compensation-related policies and initiatives in line with industry best practices. Maintain physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts, PTO requests, pay plans, etc. Assess the training needs of various roles across practice areas in line with the dynamically changing industry trends and curate learning and training programs. Ensure accurate maintenance of the data of all the professionals. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from professionals and management regarding the firm and human resources programs, policies, and guidelines. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the firm's overall business strategy. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information Managing interns: shortlist candidates and allocate competent interns to all practice areas. Devise effective and interactive training and mentoring programs for interns aligned with the firms vision and purpose.
