As an HTML5 Game Developer at Walsis eConnect India Pvt Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize web-based games for both web and mobile platforms. You will work with a team of designers, artists, and backend developers to create engaging and user-friendly gaming experiences. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining HTML5-based games for web and mobile platforms. - Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code using JavaScript/TypeScript. - Working with game engines/frameworks such as Phaser, PixiJS, and CreateJS. - Optimizing games for performance across various browsers and devices. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. - Debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing game features based on feedback. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Additionally, experience with game frameworks like Phaser, PixiJS, or Three.js is essential. A solid understanding of Canvas API, WebGL, and game physics, along with strong object-oriented programming skills, will be beneficial. Your problem-solving abilities and creativity in game mechanics implementation will also be key to your success. While not required, preferred qualifications for this role include experience integrating backend APIs for multiplayer/leaderboards, knowledge of UI/UX principles for games, and familiarity with version control systems like Git. Previous experience in publishing games on web or app stores would also be advantageous.
