Role & responsibilities HTE SP Routing L3 - Mumbai 24*7 Shifts Job Overview• We are seeking a highly skilled and mo1vated High Touch Engineer to support Ciscos key service provider customer in the Mumbai region.• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excep1onal technical support andexper1se for Ciscos Service Provider (SP) rou1ng products, ensuring high availability and performance of network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities• Leads the technical deliverables of Expert Care services (HTEC) and first escala1on resource for HTTS CSEs on reac1ve technical issues on assigned engagement(s).• Collaborate with Cisco’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC), Engineering teams to resolve cri1calissues.• Be the conduit between customer and other Cisco en11es (TAC/HTTS, BU, SE, DE, NCE,Escala1on etc) and work hand in hand with them for faster issue resolu1on.• Leads RCA effort, and as well as documenta1on and presenta1on of the same to customer.• Drive recreates in Cisco lab.• Covers maintenance windows or any other pre-planned off-hours network ac1vity.• Provides technical, product and protocol level trainings to customer and HTTS teams as needsarise• Par1cipates in weekly customer SR review mee1ngs organised by HTOM.Technical Expertise• Strong knowledge of SP rou1ng protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF.• Strong knowledge of SP technologies such as MPLS, EVPN, SR-MPLS, SRv6, LDP, RSVP TE and QoS.• Deep understanding of OSI, TCP/IP networking, IPv4/IPv6 stack.• Expert level knowledge & Troubleshoo1ng on Cisco SP pla[orms and so\ware- ASR9K, NCS, IOSXR• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Network Automa1on and programmability, SDN transport,virtualisa1on.Minimum Qualifications• Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 8+ years relatedexperience.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in suppor1ng Cisco Service Provider rou1ng products.• Proven experience in troubleshoo1ng complex network issues in large-scale service providerenvironments.• Expert level (e.g. CCIE) or equivalent relevant experience desired.
