Job Description

Description

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while promoting a culture of safety within the organization. You will play a vital role in risk assessment, training, and incident investigation, contributing to the overall safety and well-being of our workforce.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
Monitor and report on compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Provide training and support to staff on HSE practices and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable in India.
Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
Proficient in using HSE management software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
