Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Talent Sourcing: Identify and source candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles using various platforms such as job portals, social media, and educational networks. Partner with educational institutions, job fairs, and recruitment agencies to create a pipeline of potential candidates. Screening & Shortlisting: Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications. Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the institution. Coordinate with hiring managers to short-list candidates for further interviews. Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders (faculty, department heads, etc.). Provide candidates with necessary details about the interview process and expectations. Conduct telephonic/video interviews for preliminary assessments. Candidate Evaluation: Evaluate candidates qualifications, experience, and skill sets against job requirements. Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations during the recruitment process. Administer skills tests or conduct other evaluation methods as necessary for specific roles. Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates. Negotiate terms and coordinate with relevant departments for seamless onboarding. Employee Onboarding: Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires by providing relevant documentation and induction schedules. Work with HR and other departments to facilitate new hire orientation and training. Employer Branding: Assist in building and promoting the institution’s employer brand to attract top talent. Participate in outreach programs, university visits, and career fairs to enhance the institution's reputation as an employer of choice. Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate profiles, and feedback. Provide regular recruitment reports and updates to management. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with department heads, faculty, and academic teams to understand staffing needs and role requirements. Maintain effective communication with candidates, providing timely updates on their application status.
