Job Description HR Manager Job title: HR Manager Job Family: Human Resources Education: Master’s degree in business administration or HR management Location: ITC, Hinjewadi - Pune Work experience: 8 - 15 year in HR. Experience in HR Development, preferably in technical environment. Experience from operating in research and development environment with multiple engineering functions including multi-cultural people will be added advantage. Skills: • Proactive approach, strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, resilient and ready to take up new challenges • Good organisational talent to plan and organise events to promote well-being and satisfaction among employees Responsibilities: • Ensure working in-line with employee Health and Safety guidelines • Provides key interface for HR support to ITC Managers and employees to meet business objectives • Leads activities to attract, retain and develop employees in line with Corporate, Division and Country policies, procedures and initiatives. • Liaise with country HR team (country HR manager, recruitment specialist, training specialist) to ensure full HR support is provided to managers and their team in ITC/Engineering in line with business plan • Plays an active role within the IES Engineering HR Network (benchmark, information sharing, corporate HR process facilitation) • As process owner, is accountable for IMS process management (process review, KPIs management, procedure periodic review and update, corrective and preventive actions implementation as needed and resources provision for process realization) taking into consideration relevant requirements and its evolution. • Turnover rate, absenteeism rate, headcount, recruitment efficiency, training efficiency. • Deploy internal communication policy to ensure the employees are informed properly: e.g. Information boards, newsletters, town hall meetings, events, rewards. • Is closely involved to define short- and long-term needs (number and competencies) according to budget, strategy plan and forecast with managers and recruitment specialist, define recruitment specifications, monitor staffing plan, track progress and propose corrective actions. • Is involved in salary review process. In close cooperation with Country and Division HR, ensure market competitiveness and contribute to improve compensation and benefit policies for ITC employees in line with Country and PO policies. • With the lead of training specialist managers, ensure employee competency development is in line with business needs. • Coordinate performance review process, People review process, development review process for the site and ensure proper follow up of defined actions • Support to Plant Engineering Team for various initiatives like Learning and Development, Talent Management, Salary Benchmarking, Performance Review, People Review process and other associated activities. • Liaise as needed with HR Admin team to make sure all HR admin aspects are managed in an accurate and t imely manner. • Ensure HR reports required at corporate, division, country and site level.
