As an HR Executive / HR Manager at a Grocery E-commerce company operating in Davangere, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in managing the human resources functions. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and requirements: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, policies, employee engagement, grievance handling, and performance management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end recruitment for dark store staff, delivery personnel, and support teams. - Collaborate with store managers and senior leadership to assess manpower needs. - Develop hiring strategies for sourcing local talent effectively. - Conduct onboarding programs for new employees, including delivery boys and warehouse staff. - Coordinate with department heads for functional training. - Maintain proper documentation of joining kits and contracts. - Maintain attendance records and leave management using HRMS or manual logs. - Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, and ESI/PF (if applicable). - Ensure compliance with labor laws applicable to Karnataka (e.g., Shops and Establishment Act). - Handle contract labor, ESI, PF, and safety compliance. - Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks. - Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee satisfaction. - Handle employee grievances and escalate issues when needed. - Conduct employee engagement activities to reduce attrition. - Assist with goal-setting, performance reviews, and KPI tracking. - Maintain performance records for promotions/incentives. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelors/Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a retail, e-commerce, logistics, or FMCG setup. - Fluent in Kannada, Hindi, and English (must). - Hands-on experience with Google Sheets, Excel, or HRMS software. - Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environments. If you have experience hiring and managing blue-collar workforce in Tier-2 or Tier-3 cities, strong people skills, and negotiation abilities, it would be considered a plus.
