HR Manager – Job Description

Role Overview:

The HR Manager oversees end-to-end human resource functions to ensure smooth people operations, strong culture, and compliance. The role focuses on talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, HR analytics, and aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all business units.

- Build strong candidate pipelines via job portals, social media, and internal referrals.

- Improve onboarding experience and reduce early attrition.

2. Performance Management

- Run quarterly/annual performance review cycles.

- Ensure KRAs/KPIs are aligned with business goals.

- Identify low/high performers and create development plans.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

- Act as the first point of contact for grievance handling.

- Conduct regular engagement activities to maintain morale.

- Build and protect a healthy, compliant work culture.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

- Draft, update, and implement HR policies.

- Ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, POSH, Shops & Establishment).

- Maintain audits and statutory documentation.

5. Learning & Development

- Identify skill gaps and run training programs.

- Manage leadership development and succession planning.

6. Payroll & HR Operations

- Coordinate with Finance for salary processing.

- Oversee attendance, leave management, and HRMS updates.

- Ensure accurate documentation and employee records.

7. HR Analytics & Reporting

- Maintain dashboards (hiring, attrition, headcount, engagement).

- Present monthly MIS reports to management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 5–10 years of HR generalist experience

- Experience in fast-paced or multi-location teams

- Ability to handle confidential information

- Strong decision-making ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
