Job Description

Job Title: Regional HR Manager Location: Pune Need to Travel Pan India Department: Human Resources Reporting To: COO (Administratively) / CHRO (Functionally) Job Objective: To provide effective HR support for the successful delivery of HR services across the business and meet the organization's HR deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Support: Collaborate with business heads to align HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring organizational growth and success. Policy Implementation & Compliance: Administer and ensure compliance with HR policies and processes across the region. Manpower Management: Oversee manpower recruitment, onboarding, and ensure availability of the right talent for projects. Manage both executive and blue-collar recruitment and work towards controlling attrition and absenteeism. Employee Engagement & Welfare: Enhance employee skill levels and support their development through training, job rotation plans, and effective grievance handling. Ensure smooth administration of employee welfare, transport, uniforms, etc. Industrial & Employee Relations: Manage industrial relations, ensuring a harmonious work environment by handling unions, wage settlements, grievance resolution, and disciplinary actions. Proactively mitigate potential IR/ER risks. Vendor Management: Handle the selection, onboarding, and compliance management of vendors while ensuring timely payments and adherence to contracts. Safety & Compliance: Ensure zero safety incidents across project locations. Oversee statutory compliance and ensure all licenses and regulatory requirements are up-to-date. People Development: Support skill development initiatives and talent management, particularly for regional managers and employees. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Manpower Availability: Ensure recruitment and onboarding are completed within set timelines (TAT). Zero IR Issues: Maintain zero manpower loss due to IR conflicts, and close disciplinary actions within set timelines. 100% Compliance: Ensure full compliance , statutory, and vendor-related requirements. Operational Efficiency: Achieve 80% staff in L2-level skill matrix, improve employee engagement scores (EOS), and automate attendance systems. Leadership Development: Implement development plans for team members, ensuring continuous growth and upskilling. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree (Any specialization), Post Graduate degree in HR (preferably). Experience: 12-15 years of experience in HR, with exposure to multiple roles and corporate environments. Must be adept at managing HR initiatives that align with business goals. Skills: Strong understanding of business dynamics, expertise in HR policy execution, industrial relations, compliance, and talent management. Key Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage large-scale HR operations across multiple regions. Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives to business priorities. Proficiency in conflict resolution, employee engagement, and welfare management. Role Challenges: Managing HR operations across large geographic regions with diverse employee demographics. Balancing compliance with employee welfare and safety in unionized project environments. Handling complex IR/ER issues while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
