About the National Institute of Urban Affairs The National Institute of Urban Affairs is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Job Description APPLY : https://jobs.niua.in/hr-expert-designation-will-be-decided-experience Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with Institute’s objectives. Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management. Drive HR transformation initiatives and continuous improvement across the HR function. Talent Management: Design and implement talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies. Oversee performance management systems and leadership development programs. Conduct capability assessments and ensure high-potential talent development. Employee Relations & Engagement: Develop programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Mediate complex employee relations issues and ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits structures. Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness through market benchmarking and analytics. Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations (local, regional, and international as applicable). Update and enforce HR policies, procedures, and standards across all departments. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Qualifications: Post-Graduation/Masters in Human Resource Management. Minimum experience of 10-20 Years. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and learning & development. Strong knowledge of organizational development practices and change management methodologies.
