Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our Team in Chennai. This entry-level position is ideal for a fresher who is passionate about human resources and eager to learn. The HR Executive will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth daily HR operations, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment for junior-level and blue-collar positions within the manufacturing unit.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support production requirements.
- Post job advertisements on various job portals and social media.
- Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct initial screenings.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including document collection and orientation.
Time Office and HR Administration
- Manage the daily Time Office operations, including processing attendance data, tracking shifts, leaves, and overtime for all employees.
- Liaise with department heads to verify attendance records and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly attendance reports for management and payroll purposes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and update the HR database (HRIS).
- Draft HR-related documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and experience letters.
- Support payroll processing by providing necessary data to the finance team.
- Handle employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their grievances and concerns in a timely manner.
- Organize and support employee engagement activities to boost morale and foster a healthy work culture.
- Assist in conflict resolution and maintain positive employee relations.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and company HR policies, especially those relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Support the implementation of workplace safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards.
- Maintain documentation for statutory and internal audits.
Requirements
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.Experience:
Fresher, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in human resources within the manufacturing industry.Skills:
