As an IGCSE Economics Facilitator at 21K School, your role goes beyond just conveying curriculum - you will be a facilitator of thought, bringing structure, creativity, and presence into the digital classroom. Your core responsibilities will include: - Aligning deeply with the Schools academic culture and vision. - Researching, preparing, and delivering lesson plans rooted in real-world relevance and intellectual curiosity. - Creating rigorous and human-centric content and presentations for daily classes. - Facilitating engaging online classes that spark participation and learning. - Using digital tools intentionally to connect and teach effectively. - Designing meaningful formative and summative assessments to support real learning. - Collaborating with parents as partners in the education process. - Ensuring compliance and safety standards are met to build trust and care within the learning environment. What we are looking for in you besides qualifications is resilience and a growth mindset. You should have: - At least 3 years of focused teaching experience in Economics at the IGCSE level with a track record of student success in Cambridge board examinations. - A postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field from a recognized university. - In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Economics syllabus, assessment objectives, and exam techniques. - Proficiency in using online teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Classroom, and Microsoft Teams for interactive lessons. - Ability to design concept-driven lessons, facilitate discussions, and guide students in developing analytical skills. - Strong classroom management and student engagement skills in virtual or hybrid learning environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
