Housekeeping Staff

Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Staff to join our hospital team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow cleaning protocols, and a strong commitment to infection-control standards. Night-shift duties are included for one week each month.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, hallways, restrooms, waiting areas, and other hospital facilities.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and waste disposal according to hospital hygiene protocols.
• Replace bed linens, clean patient beds, and ensure rooms are sanitized after discharge.
• Follow infection-control and safety guidelines strictly.
• Refill supplies such as hand sanitizers, tissues, soap, and cleaning materials.
• Assist nursing staff with room setup and cleaning support when required.
• Handle bio-medical waste in compliance with hospital regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure tools are stored properly after use.

Work ScheduleDay Shift

• 9 hours per day (exact shift timing can be added by you)

Night Duty

• 1 week of night duty per month
• Night shift timing: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM

(Includes breaks as per policy)

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred (hospital experience is an advantage).
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Good communication skills and professional behavior.
