Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hotel Sales Manager located in Bengaluru. The Hotel Sales Manager will oversee and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, managing client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving revenue through effective sales initiatives and collaborations. The role is crucial to achieving the company’s business goals and maintaining a competitive presence in the hospitality market.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, travel trade, MICE, and social events segments.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for rooms and banquet revenues.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, cold calls, property visits, and client meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel agents, event planners, and corporate clients.

Revenue & Strategy

  • Work closely with Revenue Manager to develop pricing strategies, packages, promotional plans, and seasonal offers.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to support strategic decisions.
  • Participate in weekly revenue and sales review meetings.

Client Servicing

  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and quotations for rooms and events.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Banquets, F&B, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Handle VIP bookings and ensure high-level guest satisfaction.

Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop sales collaterals, digital promotions, and brand visibility campaigns.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, networking events, and client engagement activities.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate sales reports, call logs, weekly updates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and financial procedures.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking ability and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of hospitality sales, revenue management, and market segmentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, PMS/Opera (preferred).
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work under pressure.
