Role Overview: Hotel Vivek is seeking a proactive and experienced Hotel Sales & Business Development Manager to spearhead sales initiatives and boost business growth. The ideal candidate should possess a solid sales track record, a well-established professional network, and the capability to drive revenue through various booking channels including corporate, leisure, and events. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute tailored sales and marketing strategies aimed specifically at hotels and resorts. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and event organizers. - Drive revenue by securing group bookings, leisure packages, conferences, weddings, and other events. - Market hotel facilities for weddings, retreats, and special occasions. - Cultivate enduring client partnerships to encourage repeat business. - Prepare precise sales forecasts, performance evaluations, and essential business metrics. - Collaborate closely with operations and front-office teams to ensure top-notch guest experiences. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in hotel or resort sales (mandatory). - Extensive professional network within the hospitality and travel sectors. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management competencies. - Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets consistently. - Familiarity with the Coonoor/Ooty hospitality market and local tourism trends.
