Key Responsibilities Welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items, answer questions, and accept orders and payments. Prepare food items, such as sandwiches or baked goods, grind and blend coffee beans, brew coffee and tea, and serve items to customers. Package food and beverages for sale. Sell coffee and tea blends, brewing equipment, and educate customers about brewing methods, highlighting the differences between items. Clean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils. Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality. Update signage and displays. Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter. Maintain café hygiene standards. Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
