Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Contracting & Negotiation

  • Develop and implement the hotel contracting strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Lead negotiations for key partnerships and strategic hotel groups to secure favorable rates and terms.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, legal, and quality standards.

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Contracting Executives.
  • Set clear performance targets and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Conduct regular training on negotiation, system updates, and market trends.

3. Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with hotel chains and independent properties.
  • Oversee supplier satisfaction and resolve escalated operational or financial issues.
  • Plan and attend supplier events, trade shows, and familiarization trips to strengthen relationships.

4. Market Intelligence & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and rate movements.
  • Provide insights to senior management on portfolio performance and market opportunities.
  • Monitor contracting metrics such as rate competitiveness, revenue growth, and inventory utilization.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to optimize contracted inventory and pricing.
  • Ensure all contracted hotels are accurately loaded, promoted, and available for sale.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure timely payments and reconciliations with suppliers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Tourism, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in hotel contracting, supplier relations, or travel product management.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills at senior levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting tools.
  • In-depth understanding of hotel distribution systems, dynamic pricing, and market trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
