Role Summary:As the Hostel Warden & Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, safety, and well-being of residents at Nalanda Living properties. This dual role combines operational excellence, people management, and proactive property oversight to ensure a seamless living experience for all residents. Key Responsibilities: Resident Welfare & Community Management: Act as the first point of contact for all residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Build a positive, inclusive, and respectful community culture. Organize and support community events and activities. Handle resident queries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a timely and professional manner. Property Management & Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness, security, and maintenance of the property. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure property upkeep. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Manage utilities and services, ensuring uninterrupted access to electricity, water, internet, etc. Operational Oversight: Ensure adherence to house rules and standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of occupancy, check-ins, and check-outs. Support billing, rent collection, and payment follow-ups. Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors as needed. Compliance & Safety: Ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance with local housing regulations. Maintain resident ID records and ensure KYC compliance. Monitor entry/exit logs and ensure secure access control. Qualifications & Skills:Prior experience in hostel or property management, hospitality, or co-living spaces preferred. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Organized, reliable, and able to work independently. Fluent in English and local languages (as applicable). Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.).
