Hostel Warden

As a Hostel Warden, your role will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring the well-being and discipline of residents, and maintaining a safe living environment. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to handle emergencies effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth functioning of the hostel and enforce rules and regulations. - Maintain discipline and decorum among hostel residents. - Monitor daily attendance, movement, and activities of students. - Handle complaints and grievances of students, resolving conflicts in a timely manner. - Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel premises. - Maintain proper records including residents, visitors, and inventory. - Coordinate with housekeeping, security, kitchen staff, and maintenance teams. - Supervise hostel staff such as caretakers and cleaners. - Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas. - Provide support in case of medical emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers. - Plan and conduct orientation for new hostel residents. - Liaise with parents or guardians as needed. - Submit regular reports to management. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. - Ability to handle emergencies effectively. - Good organizational and communication skills. - Knowledge of maintaining discipline and decorum in a residential setup. - Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. - Flexibility to work day shift and rotational shifts.
