Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a hospital setting

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with hospital procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and update individualized care plans for patients

Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and ongoing health care needs

Respond promptly to emergency situations, using effective decision-making and quick problem-solving skills

Ensure the hygiene and comfort of patients by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

Participate in continuous professional development and training to stay current with best practices in nursing and patient care

Required Qualifications

A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an associate degree in nursing may be accepted with relevant experience

Proven clinical experience in a hospital setting, with strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
