Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Own and drive the entire finance function — taxation, accounting, compliance, treasury, and financial planning
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns; manage audits and regulatory inspections
- Accounting Oversight: Supervise end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly/year-end closures
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage working capital, banking relationships, and optimise cash flow
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing finance team; mentor junior staff and ensure accountability
- ERP & Systems: Oversee financial systems (SAP Business One FI Module), ensuring accurate configuration, reporting, and process automation
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with auditors, consultants, legal advisors, and government authorities
- Risk & Governance: Implement internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, and ensure full regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or MBA (Finance)
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and statutory compliance
- Proficient in SAP (FI Module), MS Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in scaling finance operations in mid-sized manufacturing setups
- Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or strategic partnerships
- Ability to work independently and drive change in a dynamic environment
