The role involves visiting assigned banks, scrutinizing collateral documents submitted by customers, and ensuring their authenticity and legal compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals seeking flexible, project-based work. Key Responsibilities: Visit designated banks and examine collateral documents submitted by customers. Verify the authenticity, validity, and originality of legal documents related to properties and other assets. Conduct title verification to ensure properties are free from encumbrances. Identify legal discrepancies, fraudulent documentation, or risks and report findings. Prepare and submit detailed legal vetting reports with observations and recommendations. Provide authorization and certification post-verification of genuine documents. Coordinate with bank officials and legal teams for a smooth verification process. Preferred Candidate Profile: Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution (LLM is a plus). Minimum 2 years of experience in property law, legal vetting, or similar roles. Expertise in property laws, title verification, and legal documentation. Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail. Ability to identify legal risks and provide practical solutions. Excellent communication and report-writing skills. Willingness to travel to different bank locations for document verification. Prior experience in banking or financial services sector is an advantage. Familiarity with land records, encumbrance certificates, and registration processes.
