Job Description

Must-Have: Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, cloud computing, and architecture. Proficiency in the Azure platform, including: Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database Azure Synapse Azure Databricks Power BI Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse design principles. Good technical knowledge of data architecture and solution design. Basic knowledge of data security, protection standards, and legal requirements. Proficiency in project management with the ability to analyze and utilize reports for data-driven decision-making. Requirements Management: Responsible for managing requirements and conceptualizing assigned solutions. Evaluates content and functional requirements to ensure alignment with business needs. Solution Implementation: Ensures the successful implementation and fulfillment of solution requirements. Coordinates work packages and collaborates with technical and business stakeholders. (However, not responsible for defining content requirements.) Application of Architecture Guidelines: Ensures adherence to architecture guidelines in the overall data architecture and data lake. Data Governance Compliance: Works closely with data governance specialists to ensure data security, protection, and legal compliance while developing solutions. Infrastructure Procurement & Commissioning: Manages the procurement, setup, and commissioning of infrastructure required for the data lake. Support & Maintenance: Acts as a subject matter expert and serves as the central point of contact (2nd level support) for power users of the implemented solutions. Hands-on experience with Machine Learning (ML) and AI services within Azure. Good-to-Have: Familiarity with advanced DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Prepares solutions for review by the Business Architect/board, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manages any necessary adjustments and improvements.
