Role & responsibilities The Sampling Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire sampling process , ensuring smooth coordination between production, cutting, quality check, and dispatch teams. They ensure timely availability of samples for sales and container shipments while maintaining accurate records and optimizing workflows. 1. Sampling Process Management Oversee slab allocation from production to sampling. Ensure accurate batch number, color, and thickness recording. Monitor cutting and quality check of samples. Ensure proper sticker labeling and warehousing of samples. 2. Coordination & Communication Collaborate with sales team for sample dispatch. Work closely with the cutting and shipping teams to manage sample availability for containers. Ensure sampling status updates are logged digitally and shared with stakeholders. 3. Process Optimization & Compliance Implement best practices to improve efficiency in the sampling unit. Maintain SOPs for sample handling, tracking, and storage. Ensure adherence to quality standards before sample dispatch. 4. Team Management Supervise and guide the Sampling Executives & Workers . Train the team on sample handling, tracking, packing and dispatch protocols . Preferred candidate profile Experience: 2+ years in a manufacturing / sampling / quality role. Education: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing / Operations / Quality Management or equivalent. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of production processes & quality control . Experience with Google Sheets for record-keeping. Soft Skills: Strong leadership & team management skills. Excellent coordination & problem-solving abilities. Effective communication with internal teams. Performance KPIs (Key Metrics): On-time sample availability for sales & shipments. Error-free batch tracking & quality compliance . Process efficiency & workflow optimization .
