Sodexo Is hiring for a Safety Officer
Job Description
1) To develop, implement and monitor Board Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures
2) To assist safety team in ensuring staff, contractors and visitors are complying with current health and safety policy
3) To establish budget proposals for the operation of the Occupational Health & Safety and specific training programs
4) To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organisation
5) To investigate and report on all serious/critical, personal injury, accidents occuring to the employees, contractors and visitors to the site in-charge and safety team
6) Reporting of hazardous working condition to the site in-charge and safety team
7) Provide safety induction training to the new joinee
8) Provide awareness about waste management and the consequence of the respective waste bins
9) Identification of hazard and risk assessment for all areas and the same to be highlighted to the site in-charge, safety team and engineering team
10) Assist and provide trainings to employees in emergency preparedness
11) Reporting of near miss, unsafe act, unsafe conditions, incidents and accidents to the site in-charge, safety team and engineering team
12) Ensure corrective action been taken for near miss, unsafe act, unsafe conditions and accidents
13) Make awareness about the BBS and SHE audit to the employees
14) Prepare MIS reports, incident report and near miss report and the same submit it to the site in-charge, safety team and engineering team (ATL)
15) Ensure for the proper usage of PPE's for the respective activities without any violation
16) Ensure work permit and LOTO are been followed

Experience - 2 years
Qualification - Safety courses, IOSH , NIBOSH
Salary - Upto 35,000
