Job Title: Software Engineer (Senior Service Engineer) Location: Hinjewadi, Pune Experience: 3 to 8 Years About Us: Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer to be part of our customer-facing team, responsible for the delivery and implementation for leading financial institutions. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on critical financial compliance regulations in the AML , Payment Frauds , and Trading Compliance domains. You will be responsible for customizing and developing solutions, while closely interacting with customers to understand their business requirements and delivering intelligent, innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, configure, and customize features for Financial products according to design documents and enterprise software standards. Work in a multidisciplinary environment with architects, business analysts, and customer teams using both waterfall and agile project methodologies. Independently handle complex tasks and contribute to the full development lifecycle. Perform unit and functionality testing to ensure alignment with design specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve functionality issues, providing timely support to customers. Interface with R&D, PS teams, and customer support teams to address technical needs. Occasionally travel to client sites or work in different time zones. Ensure clear communication and high-quality documentation for a global audience. Qualifications: Education: BE/B.Tech or equivalent with relevant practical experience/knowledge. Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience in software development, configuration, and customization. Strong experience in SQL , handling large volumes of data. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Familiarity with Oracle/MS SQL databases and application servers. Experience with Unix , basic commands, HTML , CSS , and JavaScript . Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English . Proven experience in a global environment and complex matrix organizations. High attention to detail, effective task management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various teams. Desirable Skills : Knowledge or experience with Financial products . Exposure to professional services/implementation environments.
