Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Designer to support backend engineering activities. The role involves creating detailed crate layouts, understanding industrial equipment, and coordinating with vendors for technical clarifications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, familiar with Plant 3D, and comfortable working in a SharePoint-based document management environment

Role and Responsibilities

Design & Layout:

• Create, design, and finalize crate layouts for equipment packaging and transportation.
• Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings based on engineering inputs.

Equipment Understanding:

• Gain and apply knowledge of various industrial equipment, including conveyors, cement industry machinery, and F&B (Food & Beverage) sector systems.

Documentation & Vendor Coordination:

• Review and assess vendor technical data sheets for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, issue, and manage Technical Queries (TQ) to resolve discrepancies and gather information from vendors.
• Ensure all mechanical design documents are accurately maintained and version-controlled in the SharePoint environment.

Tools & Software:

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing.Working knowledge of Plant 3D for 3D modeling is a distinct advantage Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BE/ BTech Mechanical Engineering or related field. or a related field (or equivalent)

.Preferred Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Autodesk Plant 3D is preferred.
• Proven experience working within a SharePoint environment for document management.
• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment used in industries such as Cement, Material Handling, or Food & Beverage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective interaction with vendors and cross-functional teams.
