About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Centre Head to lead the implementation of the Lighthouse Program at our Kothrud location. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, operational management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective program delivery and long-term impact.

This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone who is passionate about youth empowerment, confident in managing cross-functional teams, and has strong experience in program implementation, preferably in skilling or livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Centre Management

• Oversee day-to-day implementation of the Lighthouse Program at the Kothrud Centre
• Ensure smooth functioning of operations, culture, administration, and team coordination
• Maintain and manage monthly plans, task lists, timesheets, and team targets

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3–5 members
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career growth
• Drive a positive and inclusive centre culture with minimal attrition
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training support with Cluster Head and HR

Placement & Livelihood Support

• Coordinate with the Placement Manager to line up daily interviews for students
• Conduct resume reviews, mock interviews, and industry expert sessions
• Map the local economy to identify relevant job opportunities

Reporting, Data & Tech Adoption

• Ensure accurate data entry and reporting through the Youth Connect Portal
• Oversee deployment and adoption of Lighthouse’s internal tech systems
• Submit monthly reports and dashboards with data accuracy

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with local stakeholders including:
• Corporators, MLAs, corporate partners, NGOs, volunteers, and the community
• Represent the Lighthouse Centre in external meetings, events, and donor visits
• Ensure brand visibility and positive perception in the local ecosystem

Additional Responsibilities

• Oversee asset management and ensure effective administration at the centre
• Support cross-functional team activities and collaborate on organizational initiatives

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• MSW or Postgraduate degree in any relevant field
• 4–7 years of experience in program implementation, skilling, livelihoods, or youth development
• Prior experience managing a training or livelihood centre is preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Marathi
• Confident in engaging with senior government, donor, and corporate officials
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and tools like Zoom/Google Meet
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented
