JD for Digital Accessibility Auditor OPEN ONLY TO CANDIDATES WITH SECTION 508 TRUSTED TESTER CERTIFICATION OR IAAP WEB ACCESSIBILITY SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION Essential criteria: Conduct accessibility audits of websites and digital products to identify accessibility barriers Provide guidance on accessible design and development to ensure compliance with accessibility standards Stay up to date with accessibility regulations and standards and ensure compliance rain and educate team members on accessibility best practices Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI ARIA and display knowledge about the accessibility benefits and obstacles these techniques provide Hands-on experience in manually testing websites to ensure conformance to WCAG 2.2 Level AA & Level AAA Should have experience with a variety of assistive technologies and how they relate to WCAG requirements Hands on experience with Assistive Technology (e.g. screen readers - NVDA and JAWS, magnifiers, alternative input, etc.) Understand accessibility evaluation tools and methods in both web and desktop environments Conduct automated and manual accessibility audits of websites and apps to identify accessibility issues Provide reports on accessibility issues to clients and be able to explain those findings to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders Train and educate team members on accessibility best practices Good to have skills: 3-5+ years of experience in driving accessibility in digital arena A background in usability, user centred design or inclusive design Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/relevant experience. IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist certification or equivalent, such as Trusted Tester Version 5 (TTV5) Prior experience conducting manual accessibility testing of websites, mobile apps and digital products using assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and magnification software Skilled with HTML, CSS, and WAI-ARIA (JavaScript a plus) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Passionate about user experiences and accessible design and development Interested candidates please share their updated resume at smaranikad@tranistics.com Immediate joiners will be preferred.
