Job Description

• Manage Sales and Profit Targets

  Ensure category sales and profit meet company targets. Select the right products for the right customers based on market trends.

• Track Daily and Monthly Performance

  Monitor sales, margins, and income daily. Review performance monthly and yearly by store, customer, and category. Help plan annual budgets.

• Analyse Sales and Manage Stock

  Prepare sales and margin reports. Compare results with market trends. Work with supply chain to manage stock and forecasts.

• Work with Suppliers

  Negotiate prices and targets with suppliers. Build strong relationships and support sales across all channels, including online.

• Follow Pricing Policies

  Set and update product prices based on company rules and market factors. Ensure proper pricing across stores.

• Plan Product Ranges

  Review product performance regularly. Plan the right assortment for new stores and different store types.

• Create Promotions

  Work with the marketing and sales teams to plan promotions that grow sales and attract customers.

• Ensure Quality and Compliance

  Follow company policies and legal rules for products, pricing, and quality. Make sure operations follow standard procedures.

• Lead and Support the Team

  Guide team members and work with other departments to meet goals. Step in for the purchasing head when needed.

• Study Market Trends

  Stay updated on customer preferences, new products, and market trends to plan future product ranges.
