Qualifications/Requirements
5+ years experience in enterprise application development • 4+ years proven experience with building native Android Apps • Experience with Agile development methods • Proficient in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK • Familiarity with Android development tools such as Android Studio, ADB, and Gradle • Experience with Jetpack libraries (e.g., Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, Room) • Understanding of RESTful web services, JSON, and design patterns using various technologies • Hands-on development expertise of a complex mobile application • Experience defining and delivering against functional and non-functional requirements – such as performance, reliability, and latency requirements • Capability building unit tests and acceptance test suites using tools like JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and Robolectric • Experience with debugging tools such as Logcat, Android Profiler, LeakCanary, and Stetho • Current knowledge of Native Mobile App user design patterns and best practices • Experience collaborating with a team of programmers with varying skillsets • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a rapid, iterative development environment • Superior communication skills • Desire to learn emerging technologies • Experience with Xamarin and .Net/C# a plus
