Job Description

Role & responsibilities a. Accounting & Financial Operations i. Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses. ii. Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations accurately. iii. Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory filings to ensure compliance. iv. Manage accounts payable and receivable, tracking outstanding invoices and follow-ups. v. Support in monthly and annual financial reporting. b. E-commerce Accounting & Reconciliation i. Reconcile payments from e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.). ii. Tracked order returns, refunds, and chargebacks to maintain financial accuracy. iii. Monitor cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and settlements. iv. Assist in inventory cost tracking and sales reconciliation. c. Compliance & Taxation i. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other financial regulations. ii. Maintained proper documentation for audit and tax filings. iii. Work with external auditors and tax consultants as required. d. Reporting & MIS i. Prepare basic financial reports, cash flow statements, and expense tracking. ii. Assist in budgeting and cost control analysis. iii. Generate insights on operational expenses and profit margins. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in accounting (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG). Familiarity with Tally accounting software. Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance. Experience with e-commerce payment reconciliation is a plus. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Perks and benefits
