Hiring Cost Analyst-Costing

Job Description

Key Responsibilities : BOM Validation: Verify and validate Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with product specifications. Scrap Validation and Accounting: Validate scrap data and ensure proper accounting treatment as per defined processes. Segment-wise Material Cost Reporting: Manage and analyze material costs across different segments to ensure accurate cost allocation and profitbaility Pricing Support: Provide pricing and cost-related inputs to the Costing Head . Material Cost Variance Analysis: Analyze budgeted vs. actual material costs and provide insights on variances. Daily Monitoring of Material Prices: Track and monitor price fluctuations of key materials and report deviations to costing Head . Coordination with SCM: Collaborate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to obtain and provide daily MIGO (Material Document) quantities and PO in Pipe Line. COPA vs. GL Segment-wise Variance Analysis: Perform comparative analysis of segment-wise material cost variances between COPA (Controlling Profitability Analysis) and General Ledger (GL). Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SAP ERP systems Strong Knowledge of Excel and Power Point.. Basic knowledge of cost accounting principles. Effective communication and coordination abilities.
