As a Production Technician/Production Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all shift operations are conducted in compliance with HSE regulations and standards, contributing to the achievement of the Goal Zero target. It is essential to maintain the operation of the Color line with minimal deviations and consistent product quality. Your role will involve producing high-quality, defect-free color products during each shift and providing effective support to the overall production process. You will be expected to adhere to HSE regulations during daily shift operations to support the Goal Zero target. It is crucial to follow and maintain the permit systems implemented at the site. Production activities should be performed according to Production Planning and Delivery Schedule (PPDS) to achieve on-time delivery of finished goods. Following and maintaining line processing conditions with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is essential to produce defect-free products. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the reduction of production scrap and off-spec generation. Efficient execution of production changeover activities is necessary to improve productivity. You will also be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of production equipment and downstream machinery. Handling finished products with proper packaging and labeling to avoid any customer complaints is a key aspect of your role. Updating daily reports and maintaining documentation with correct data available on time is crucial. Maintaining good housekeeping in the shop floor to ensure the workplace is in the required basic condition is also part of your responsibilities. You will be required to support cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, etc., to achieve the common goal of the company. Ensuring material handling equipment is maintained to ensure smooth material transfer is important. Collaborating with shift leaders and production technicians to improve productivity is also expected. You will be supporting in Value Creation and Lean initiatives to enhance profitability. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Diploma in Plastics Technology in Plastics Processing and testing from a reputed college or university, or an ITI in Plastic Processing Operator from reputable institutions. Additionally, you should have 2 to 5 years of experience in the Color Masterbatch manufacturing industry. Your functional core competencies should include experience in Color MB product processing, including batch making, weighing, and blending, with decision-making skills. Knowledge of color product testing and adjustments, as well as proficiency in operating various equipment and systems such as loss-in-weight feeders, high-speed mixers, strand cutting systems, vacuum pumps, utilities, and DCS, will be required. Familiarity with managing color product losses, equipment corrections, and recipe modifications, as well as being well-versed in color changeover procedures, are essential competencies for this role. Overall, your ability to build partnerships, deliver results, drive innovation, grow capabilities, promote inclusion, and exhibit motivational fit while showcasing technical skills will be critical to excelling in this position.,
