Mentor Match is looking for experienced AP Chemistry educators to deliver high-impact, exam-focused instruction to high school learners preparing for AP Chemistry, all from the comfort of your home during US-time-zone hours.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, concept-driven AP Chemistry lessons covering topics such as atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, equilibrium, thermodynamics, kinetics, acids and bases, and electrochemistry.
• Align sessions with College Board AP Chemistry curriculum and current exam requirements.
• Provide regular feedback, assign practice problems, and monitor student performance to support score improvement.
• Lead demo sessions to showcase your teaching style and ability to simplify complex chemical concepts.
• Communicate effectively with parents and the academic team to ensure each student's academic goals are being met.

Who we are looking for

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring AP Chemistry to high school students (grades 912), preferably online.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field; advanced degrees are a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience in chemistry at the high school or AP level.
• Strong ability to explain challenging topics clearly, build problem-solving skills, and prepare students for the AP exam.
• Tech-savvy, reliable, and comfortable using online teaching tools and virtual whiteboards.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students gain confidence in chemistry.
