Looking for a skilled engineer to handle servicing and maintenance of high-end printers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with high-end printers, including hardware and software malfunctions. Perform component-level repairs and replacements, including print heads, rollers, and electronic components. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify problems. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal printer performance. Clean and calibrate printers to prevent malfunctions and extend equipment lifespan. Replace consumable parts (e.g., toner, ink cartridges) and perform necessary adjustments. Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Explain technical issues and repair procedures clearly and professionally. Offer guidance on printer operation and maintenance best practices. Maintain excellent customer relations. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document troubleshooting steps and repair procedures. Generate service reports and provide feedback to management. Technical Updates and Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest printer technologies and industry trends. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills. Share technical knowledge with colleagues and customers. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools. Order and track replacement parts as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of equipment and supplies.
