Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate and maintain company-owned heavy vehicles, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods/materials as per route and schedule. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or tankers as assigned. Transport goods/materials safely and efficiently to assigned destinations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips. Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel usage, and delivery records. Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., checking oil, tire pressure). Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies. Assist with loading and unloading goods if required. Requirements: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Commercial License). Proven experience as a heavy vehicle/truck driver. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic laws. Ability to work long hours, including night shifts or weekends, if needed. Physically fit to handle long driving hours and cargo. Strong sense of responsibility and time management. Preferred Qualifications: 10th passout. Prior experience in transport. Important Notes: All drivers and workers are employed as per the Labor Department’s norms. We encourage hardworking, reliable individuals who are ready to take ownership of their work. Special care will be taken during interviews to understand the driver’s mindset, behavior, and commitment level, as drivers often have high attrition rates. Candidates with a stable work history and sincere approach will be given preference.
