Health Insurance Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Health Insurance Sales Advisor to join our team in Kharadi, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising individuals and families on the best health and medical insurance solutions to meet their needs, financial goals, and specific local requirements in Pune and the surrounding regions. This role is crucial for our growth and involves both active client acquisition and long-term relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Client Acquisition

• Lead Generation: Actively source and prospect new clients through cold calls, professional networking, referrals, and managing inbound leads.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough fact-finding with prospective clients to understand their financial situation, existing coverage, family health history, and specific health insurance needs.
• Product Consultation: Present and explain various health insurance products (e.g., individual, family floater, critical illness, top-up plans) offered by the company, clearly detailing coverage, exclusions, premiums, and claim processes.
• Sales Closure: Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring all necessary documentation and proposal forms are accurately completed as per IRDAI guidelines.

2. Customer Service and Relationship Management

• Policy Servicing: Provide post-sales support for policy issuance, premium payment reminders, and policy modifications/endorsements.
• Claims Assistance: Guide and support clients through the entire claims process, assisting with documentation and acting as a liaison between the insured and the insurer for smooth settlement.
• Retention and Renewals: Maintain continuous contact with the client base to foster long-term relationships, advise on timely renewals, and cross-sell or up-sell additional products based on changing needs.

3. Market and Regulatory Compliance

• Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest health insurance products, market trends, and competitive offerings specific to the Pune market.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities strictly adhere to the regulations set by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and internal company compliance policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
